Youth Safety Online – 26 June 2024 Event Recording

In June, we held a public event focused on Online Safety for Children and Young People. We were delighted to have Professor Sonia Livingstone as our keynote speaker, as well as a panel of experts in the field, including Alex Cooney of CyberSafeKids, Professor Debbie Ging of Dublin City University, and Fiona Jennings of ISPCC. Our speakers helped to highlight the Alliance’s campaign to build a safe digital space for all children and young people, one that is founded on rights. Though there are risks to children online, many approaches can be taken to protect them effectively, as noted by speakers and audience members alike.
