This is a submission by the Children’s Rights Alliance to the Committee established to undertake the review, which comprises representatives from the Departments of Health and Children, Finance, and Social and Family Affairs, and from the Health Services Executive. In its submission, the Alliance welcomes the decision to undertake a review of eligibility criteria for medical cards.
