The Children’s Rights Alliance commended the Task Force on their efforts to consult with interested groups and the general public. It strongly urged the Task Force to engage in consultation with children and young people in the development of the national strategy, which would be in keeping with the requirements of Article 12 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
