This Children’s Rights Alliance submission is rooted in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, and seeks to ensure that the design of the National Children’s Hospital would have children’s rights at its core. It has four sections: the principles that should underpin practice in the design phase, the design process itself, the functionality of the physical building and its environment, and planning for the future.
