This is the Children’s Rights Alliance’s submission to the Department of Social and Family Affairs in relation to the development of Budget 2009. Split into two sections, the first looks at the changes that can make a positive, but limited, impact on the day to day lives of those living in poverty, while the second looks at the longer-term system changes required for Ireland to end child poverty.
