In this submission the Alliance focuses on some of the key issues regarding the health and well-being of children and young people in Ireland, with reference to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Concluding Observations of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child following the examination of the First National Report of Ireland in 1998, and the commitments outlined in the National Children’s Strategy.
