In this submission, the Children’s Rights Alliance welcomes the introduction of legislation aimed at making further provisions for the education of children and young people with disabilities. However it recommends that a number of amendments should be made to strengthen the rights of children and young people with disabilities to access meaningful education suitable to their needs.
