Susanna Lyons

Susanna is an independent consultant and non-executive director. She specialises in corporate governance, risk management, assurance, compliance and financial management in both the private and not-for-profit sectors. Susanna is the former CEO of Approved Housing Bodies Regulatory Authority (AHBRA) with responsibility for introducing a new regulatory framework for the social and affordable housing sector in Ireland. Before joining the statutory regulator, she spent five years with the Regulation Office in the Housing Agency, overseeing voluntary regulation of Approved Housing Bodies.

Prior to working in the public sector, Susanna spent 25 working for a number of US multinationals across Europe and North America, with a focus on financial planning and analysis, risk management, strategy and governance. Susanna holds an MBA from University of Phoenix and an MSc(Econ) in International Economics, Banking & Finance from the University of Wales, College of Cardiff.
