Siobhán O’ Reilly

Senior Education Officer

Siobhán joined the Children’s Rights Alliance in March 2024.  She leads in the rollout of the Children’s Rights Alliance education projects, policy and advocacy activities.  Siobhán has twenty-five years’ experience working across the formal and non-formal education sector and in developing and leading community-based organisations and service delivery for children, young people and families.  She has worked in the voluntary and community sector in a number of different roles and also served on a number of community-based Boards.  Siobhán holds a BA in European Studies and a Higher Diploma in Education from Trinity College Dublin.  She completed a Doctorate in Educational Leadership in DCU in 2012 and has lectured on a number of modules on the BSc in Education in Training.  She is a Senior Research Associate with the DCU Education Disadvantage Centre and is passionate about community development, social justice and education.
