The project provides supports and assistance to children, youths and families whose lives are impacted negatively by a family member’s drug or alcohol misuse. The programme helps to strengthen the relationship between children and their parents and other carers, and helps to improve their living situations, involvement in school and in other activities.

The Youth Prevention Programme addresses the needs of young people (12-18 years) who are high risk, and/or experimenting alcohol/drug users.  This programme includes outreach contact, intensive individual work, addiction assessment and referral to more specialised services, where the need arises.
