Sexual Violence Centre Cork has provided services to victims of sexual violence in Cork city and county since 1983. The Centre aims to provide the highest quality of direct service provision to victims of sexual violence, their families and friends, in addition to supporting professionals and community or voluntary organisations to assist victims. The Centre also works towards the elimination of sexual violence in society by raising awareness of the prevalence, incidence and dynamics of sexual violence within society.The Centre is committed to engaging with students, the general public, professional, statutory bodies and the community and voluntary sector in order to raise awareness and effect change.
