Working for the best interests of children and young people in Ireland, Barnardos provides family support services, early years services, information and training and advocacy. Support services include a bereavement counselling service, an adoption advice service and the Beacon Guardian ad Litem service.
Barnardos supports children whose well-being is under threat, by working with them, their families and communities and by campaigning for the rights of children. Barnardos was established in Ireland in 1962 and is Ireland’s leading independent children’s charity.
