The Children’s Rights Alliance is currently running a consultation on behalf of the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (DCEDIY) on the experiences of the parents of children who are neurodivergent or disabled.
The department wants to include all children regardless of diagnosis or potential diagnosis. This consultation includes, but is not limited to, Autistic children, ADHD children; children with intellectual disabilities, physically disabled children, dyslexic and dyspraxic children. It includes children who have a diagnosis or are in the prosses of seeking a diagnosis, in accessing childcare (including pre-school).
