In this submission, the Children’s Rights Alliance says “the number of children and young people still living in poverty after a period of unprecedented prosperity shows the scale of the work that still needs to be done. The NAPincl 2003-2005 must represent a real Government commitment to the elimination of child poverty. The NAPincl should outline and detail specific steps to be taken and the targets to be met to enable the Government to achieve its goal of ending consistent child poverty by 2007.”
