Community Connect is Ireland’s national Baby Bank Charity. We support pregnant women and new parents who are struggling with the financial stress of having a baby. We help in a practical way by providing pre-loved baby equipment, clothing, and necessities, as well as gift packages of essential hygiene items.
We have 5 hubs in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Kilkenny, and Athlone. Our hubs accept donations of pre-loved baby items and pass them on directly to parents who really need them.
We work closely with social workers, maternity hospitals, domestic violence shelters, and other organisations who refer families in need to us for practical help.
Our ultimate aim is to provide the practical items so that no baby in Ireland has to go without, and no mother needs to worry about getting the basics for her baby, while also providing Irish parents with a sustainable and trustworthy way to donate their pre-loved baby items to a family who will really benefit.
