The Role: Senior Equality Officer
The Children’s Rights Alliance is recruiting a Senior Equality Officer to lead its equality work including on child refugees.
The Alliance unites over 145 members working together to make Ireland one of the best places in the world to be a child. We change the lives of all children by making sure that their rights are respected and protected in our laws, policies and services. We identify problems for children. We develop solutions. We educate and promote information on children’s rights. We unite our members to put pressure on Government to put children first.
Location: Offices of the Children’s Rights Alliance, 7 Red Cow Lane, Smithfield, Dublin 7.
The terms, conditions, and benefits:
• The position is full-time with the possibility of part-time and flexible working.
• The salary is commensurate with experience.
• Other benefits include: 1.5% annual increase based on the successful completion of your annual appraisal; annual leave of 25 days pro rata; closure of the office on Good Friday and Christmas period (four days); the Alliance’s Time in Lieu Policy applies to this position; Travel (bike-to-work schemes/tax saver commuter tickets) and access to the Alliance’s Employment Assistance Programme.
