In response to the unlawful invasion of Ukraine by Russia and the unfolding humanitarian tragedy, the Irish Government removed visa restrictions for Ukrainian refugees arriving to Ireland and committed to imposing no cap on numbers. The Children’s Rights Alliances is making an initial written submission to support the Government’s efforts to provide appropriate reception and integration supports to Ukrainian children and young people arriving in Ireland.
