On ratifying the Convention (UNCRC), Governments agree to be assessed periodically by the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child on their progress in implementing the rights in the Convention.

The Children’s Rights Alliance will undertake four key activities to bring the voices of children, young people, non-governmental organisations and other experts to the UN Committee to influence Ireland’s next UNCRC review.
