Food Advertising Research

Research was required by the Irish Heart Foundation, the National Youth Council of Ireland and the Children’s Rights Alliance to access the extent to which parents of dependant children under the age of 18, are concerned about the TV advertising of unhealthy food to children or young people. This research will enable these organisations to inform the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland of any desire among parents for a ban on unhealthy food advertising targeted at children.
